This property is located contiguous to the south of the Canadian Malartic Mine situated over Lac Fourniere close to Val-D’Or. Little past work has been done on the property. The exposed rock (Monzonite) sampled on islands on the lake indicated it is similar to the geology west of EMR’s property. Drilling there (hole F97-02) indicated 0.4% Cu over 66.94m.

The Ant Lake showing is hosted within an intensely altered portion of the gabbroic phase of the Patterson Island Pluton. Trench samples from numerous sites returned values up to 0.6% Cu, 0.07% Ni, 4000ppb Pd and 561ppb Pt. The property is approximately 6 km NE of the Swan Lake Platinum Corp. property. The area of the showing is underlain by a fine-grained body of dioritic qabbro in the Peter Lake geological domain. The property is contiguous to the SW corner of Ramp Metals Inc. property. (SDMI 0545, 0546)
